Slow Cooker Hawaiian Ribs



Experience a taste of the tropics with these succulent Slow Cooker Hawaiian Ribs. The combination of pineapple, soy, and savory spices creates a mouthwatering dish that's perfect for a relaxed and flavorful meal.

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs pork ribs
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch optional, for thickening
  • Sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions:

Mix pineapple juice, soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, black pepper, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a bowl with a whisk

Then, put the pork ribs in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over them, making sure to cover them all

Leave the lid on and set the heat to low

Cook for 6 to 8 hours, or until the ribs are soft and fully cooked

If you'd like a thicker sauce, you can make a slurry with 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and water

During the last 30 minutes of cooking, stir the slurry into the sauce

When the ribs are done, carefully take them out of the slow cooker and put them on a platter to serve

Add green onions and sesame seeds that have been sliced on top

You can put these tasty Hawaiian ribs in the slow cooker and serve them with rice or your favorite side dishes
