Vegan Tofu Feta Cheese
This vegan tofu feta cheese is a great alternative to regular feta cheese made from milk. It tastes great and is sour, making it perfect for giving your favorite foods a burst of savory goodness.
Ingredients:
- 1 block extra-firm tofu, pressed and drained
- 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cut the pressed tofu into small cubes and place them in a bowl
In a separate bowl, whisk together apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, olive oil, nutritional yeast, dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper
Pour the marinade over the tofu cubes and gently toss to coat evenly
Cover and refrigerate the tofu for at least 1 hour, allowing it to marinate and absorb the flavors
